Scorability

Designing a recruiting knowledge system for six sports

Recruiting rules and timelines vary by sport, position, and year in high school, and reliable guidance is hard to find. I designed a connected guide system that turns fragmented information into clear, navigable paths for athletes and families, while positioning Scorability as a trusted recruiting resource.

Role
Lead content design, information architecture, UX strategy, wireframes, content, and cross-functional delivery
Scope
Dozens of interconnected guides · five sports live, softball in development
Team
Co-founders and web development

Each has the same twelve core guides, plus sport-specific guides: club volleyball; AAU, grassroots and NIL for basketball; the club soccer landscape; travel ball and showcases for baseball. Ryzer

Designing distinct paths for two audiences on one platform

Coaches and camp operators came to Ryzer to run, market, and manage camps. Athletes and families came to discover and register for them. I redesigned the information architecture, routing, hierarchy, and content so each audience entered the right journey and reached a clear next step.

Quicken

Designing content across a growing fintech ecosystem

Personal finance is regulated, technical, and easy to get wrong. Through a company-wide rebrand and three product launches, I helped shape the messaging, UX content, voice rules, and reusable content patterns that kept a complex product ecosystem clear and consistent for millions of users.

Carrying the rebrand into core UX flows

Shifting from feature-first to benefit-driven language, from the homepage through onboarding.

  2. 02

    Launching new products

Launch messaging for three new products so each one read as distinct. Each outperformed its launch forecast.

  3. 03

    Building reusable content components

One component system for web, lifecycle and social: faster production and consistent content across channels.

Quicken

Turning audience insight into video and paid social

Quicken's forecasting advantage mattered to two very different audiences. I developed distinct campaign concepts for people juggling several financial apps and people who had outgrown the one they used, then carried those ideas through video, paid social, and 54 final static executions.

Role
Concepts, copy, and art direction, leading graphic and motion designers on a five-person creative team
Stakeholders
Creative director, VP of product marketing, CMO
Formats
Video spots, plus statics in 1×1, 4×5 and 9×16

About

Austin, TX

I work where the product gets hard to explain: complicated rules, overlapping features, and audiences who want different things from the same page.

I'm a senior content designer and creative strategist with 9+ years of experience turning complex products into clear systems people can navigate, understand, and act on.

At Quicken, I contributed to a company-wide rebrand, three product launches, core UX flows, and a reusable content system across web, lifecycle, and social. At Scorability, I built recruiting knowledge and conversion systems from research and information architecture through wireframes, copy, and delivery.

Outside the day job, I run a recording studio in Austin. It's a separate practice, but it shapes my taste, restraint, and patience for long creative work. When I'm not working, I like cooking, reading, spending time with my pit bull, Chico, and watching the mighty Tottenham Hotspur FC.
